Psycho Cake 2 C. Brown Sugar 2 Eggs 1C. Sour Milk 1 tsp. B. Soda 3 1/2 C. Flour 3/4 C. Nuts (flour dusted) 3 T. Melted Butter Mix in order given & bake in loaf or layer pans at 350 for 1-1 1/2 hours. Serve with rum sauce. pg. 126 Rum Sauce 2 T. rum or brandy ( I’d use 1tsp. rum flavoring) 1 T. Cornstarch 1 #2 can bing cherries Mix cornstarch with a little of the cherry juice . Pour the rest of the juice into a pan and bring to a boil. Add cornstarch mixture. Cook until reduced by half. Remove from heat and add rum,brandy or flavoring. Pour over cherries and then over ice cream, pudding or stale cake.
